New season starts!

Hi All,

Hope all of you have had great summer and feel excited for the new season. Our new season have started on August 15th and all groups are welcome to play or train at their regular schedule. The competition groups T1 and T2 will start their first training session with coach Fredrik on August 20th. 

This season, the club has 4 teams competing in the series. Team A will compete in Division 2, Team B & C compete in Division 3 while our new, junior-focused team D will be compete in Division 4.

We will also start the season with Spelstegen 2.0 – a makeover of our traditional playing ladder. Spelstegen 2.0 will accommodate both singles and doubles players, with dedicated courts and time. The idea is to help members playing more matches in the categories and levels that suit them the most to improve their skills. All competing members in T1/2 and adult exercisers are welcome to join!

Just right before the summer, the club elected new positions to the board in our yearly meeting. Nhan Nguyen serves as new chairman, Elodie Chabannier as motionäransvarig and Duoli Chen as kassor, while Staffan Grenehammar, Bilin Chen, Daniel Engvall and Michael Yang continue their assignments in the board. The new board has fully onboarded with the club day-to-day work and starts to work on several new initiatives. It will be a new exciting season for BMK Södermalm!
